Mission Statement

VFW Post 9182 provides Selfless Service to the Veterans, Community and Youth.

Service to the Veteran……We will provide to the best of our ability assistance to any Veteran in need, whether it is financial, spiritual, medical or to provide comfort and honors at the Veteran’s last call at the grave site…. we will be there for the Veteran.

Service to the Community……Katy (and the greater West Houston area) is a great place to live and work. We will partner closely with the City of Katy to provide support in many areas and events, showing the populace we are Veterans and we are Katy proud.

Service to the Youth……We partner with the Katy ISD, Mayde Creek Naval Junior ROTC, the Katy Sea Cadet Detachment, scouting organizations and the National Charity League to share Veteran’s experiences with the youth, our future, to bring the past alive and to share our history with the Youth.
